Jon Libbert, National NSPII Treasurer, is the Game Chairman of the Kids Glove program this year.  Mr. Libbert will be throwing out the first pitch to his 13-year old grandson at the June 23rd Cincinnati Reds game against San Diego Padres at 7:10 p.m.  The Cincinnati Reds will host five Kids Glove Games throughout their season.  The Kids Glove Game is a program that is committed to providing opportunities for area children to play softball and baseball.  All proceeds go towards purchasing new equipment for youth in the Greater Cincinnati area.    Each year, the Reds allow Kids Glove to print 40,000 view level ticket vouchers, or 8,000 for five individual games.  Teams receive the ticket vouchers to sell, and in doing so, the team or organization receives back $10.00 for every ticket sold.  The Kids Glove also co-sponsors the Miracle League, a league that provides an opportunity for special needs children to play and enjoy baseball and softball, while making contributions to the Reds' Community Fund to co-sponsor an Inner City Baseball Program.  The program has built "Miracle Fields," which is the accomplishment that Mr. Libbert is most proud of.  For a complete copy of the article, please click here.
