Formed in 1983, the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators® (NSPII® ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering investigative ideas, procedures and techniques. NSPII® sponsors annual, national and regional seminars, publishes a newsletter, and conducts regular meetings to inform and develop professionals in the areas of insurance fraud recognition, prevention and investigation.
 

2012 Advanced Insurance Fraud Seminar

The 2012 Advanced Insurance Fraud Seminar will take place on November 12-13, 2012 at the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites, 120 West Market Street, Indianapolis, IN, (317) 972-0600.

Topics and speakers are in the process of being compiled by the Seminar Committee.  The brochure should be completed by the Spring of 2012.

2012 Ohio Joint Insurance Fraud Seminar
The 2012 Ohio Joint Insurance Fraud Seminar will take place on March 14, 2012 at the Quest Conference Centers, 8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, OH.  Ten topics will be offered.  Cost is $125 for Members and $150 for Non-Members.  Registration deadline is March 2, 2012.  For a copy of the seminar brochure, please click here or a copy of the registration form, click  here.
There are three levels of sponsorship available.  You may choose any level, or combination of levels, that you desire.  They include (1) Break Sponsors at $100; (2) Underwriting Sponsor at $125; and (3) Exhibitor Sponsor at $200.  Click here for a sponsorship registration form.

Join NSPII®

Membership in the Society has its privileges.  Membership in the Society is comprised of the following categories:

  • Investigators
  • Insurance Claims Personnel
  • Attorneys
  • Forensic Experts
  • Criminal Investigators 
  • Retirees
  • Educators

Membership Classification - Auxiliary Member:  Each new member who qualifies under the Membership Category of Criminal Investigator shall be classified as an Auxiliary Member.

A. Auxiliary Member Requirements. Auxiliary Members must (i) attend at least two (2) State Chapter meetings per year, or attend the annual seminar each year, and (ii) maintain full time employment status that qualifies under the Membership Category of Criminal Investigator.

B.  Auxiliary Member Rights and Privileges. An Auxiliary Member shall have no voting privileges, and shall not hold office in the National Society or any State Chapter(s). Auxiliary Members may, however, serve as members of committees on behalf of the National Society and/or State Chapter(s). Auxiliary Members shall not advance to either Full or Lifetime Membership Classification. Auxiliary Member may receive the newsletter from the National Society and the individual State Chapter(s) of which they may be a member. Auxiliary Members may receive invitations to state and national seminars, training sessions and meetings.

C. Auxiliary Member Agreements. Auxiliary Members agree as follows: (i) to abide by and adhere to the Constitution and Bylaws of the National Society and any State Chapter(s) to which they belong, (ii) not to release, in any form, to anyone not a Member of the National Society, any information as may be delivered to the Auxiliary Member including, but not limited to, membership lists, newsletter information, information pertaining to training meetings, business meetings, and seminars.
